After a two year pause, Guernsey is gearing up to receive 84 cruise calls this season.
The first to arrive will be Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ Hanseatic Spirit on April 15; the last cruise ship to call will be Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Star on October 25.
Among the other cruise vessels sailing to Guernsey are MSC Cruises’ Virtuosa, Cunard’s Queen Victoria and Ambassador Cruise Line’s first ship, Ambience.
‘We are really looking forward to welcoming our first cruise ship passengers in over two years to St Peter Port this summer,’ said a VisitGuernsey spokesperson. ‘Cruising is an important part of our tourism economy and we continue to invest in our cruise offering, including the welcome, disembarkation process and an extensive and diverse shore excursion programme.
