Bristol Cruise Terminal has announced that it will be welcoming the largest ever cruise ship to Royal Portbury Dock this year. Taking centre stage during prime cruise season, TUI’s Mein Schiff 3, the largest luxury liner ever to visit the Port, will welcome over 2,500 passengers to explore the local region. Bristol Cruise Terminal is lucky to boast a wealth of excursion opportunities within 90 minutes of the Port, from the city of Bristol itself, famous for Banksy and Brunel to the beautiful architecture of Georgian Bath to stately homes and gardens in the Cotswolds.
The Port’s Commercial Manager and Chair of Cruise Britain, James Stangroom said: “It is an exciting time for The Bristol Port Company and its cruise terminal. With increasing figures to 24 calls this year, Bristol’s appeal as a cruise destination of choice to major players continues to grow as a number of cruise lines and itinerary planners see the benefit of calling into the Port and exploring our region.”
2020 will also see the maiden call of Saga’s Spirit of Adventure and Seabourn Quest into Royal Portbury Dock as the Port marks another exciting milestone in its cruise trade.
