Our new cruise berth, South Quay, is the first of several proposed developments to improve our port facilities and enables us to welcome vessels up to 220m in length into Poole’s beautiful natural harbour. The Port’s central position on the South Coast is easily reached from London, the Midlands and the West Country and enjoys convenient road and rail links.
Poole is one of the world’s largest natural harbours, said to be second only to Sydney’s in size. It’s extensive sheltered waters provide a magnificent haven for recreational sailing and water sports, and the mudflats and salt marshes are of great ecological value for feeding and roosting birds.
